Pashupathy Gopalan, Co - Founder, SunEdison Infrastructure
Pashupathy Shankar Gopalan was the Asia-Pacific President and CEO, and built SunEdison’s business in Asia/Africa/Australia which is considered a pioneer in the Indian Solar Business as a CEO. Before joining SunEdison, Pashu was with Cypress Semiconductor as Vice President for Strategic Marketing and Corporate Business Development. In this capacity, he was responsible for various initiatives covering Global Market Strategy, New Business Creation, Cypress venture Fund, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Strategy and Platform Marketing of Cypress’s Products. Pashu joined Cypress in 2005 as a Managing Director for Cypress’s Automotive and Consumer Imaging Business Units that included running the Cambridge, MA based SMaL Camera Technologies acquisition. Pashu was also the Senior Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Bloom Energy (which is a pioneering fuel cell energy company and listed in NASDAQ). Pashu holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT-BHU, M.S in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University, and an MBA from Stanford University.
Anil Jain, Co - Founder, SunEdison Infrastructure
An astute leader with 18 years of experience in heading and driving business operations with complete profit accountability. Anil Jain is a keen planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in devising strategic activities and accelerating the growth. He comes with a strong domain knowledge in the field of operations, sales & marketing, finance, supply chain management.He has significantly contributed to renewable energy power projects, and refrigerants market development. Anil acquired SunEdison’s solar water pumps and rural electrification in the year 2007 and successfully installed more than 10,000 solar water pumps and rolled out home solar solutions across the country. He built a strong pipeline of 200 MW+ in commercial and industrial rooftop assets with a focus on the equity IRR of 20% and credible customer rating. Anil started SunEdison’s residential and small commercial platform in the solar rooftop vertical to solve the problem of high tariff & unstable power supply in the residential segment. Anil Jain holds a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola College.

The panels, inverter, racking and solar battery storage unit are the four main components that make up the solar plant.
Panel: Made up of semiconductor material, the solar panels harness the light of the sun and convert it into DC.
